Title: Sparrows - Scarborough
Post by: Bluffs Birder on March 11, 2012, 09:53:37 PM
Sunday night at 6:30 PM I watched a Song Sparrow foraging on the ground in the backyard.  Probably the same guy I've seen the last couple of years during the spring and fall.

This morning (Monday) I had an American Tree Sparrow and a Dark-eyed Junco.  Also a first for my yard, a Red Squirrel came for a visit.

Cool about the Song Sparrow.  Now if you tell me one day he's out there belting out his song...  I will be envious.  I enjoy those little guys and that nice song of theirs.  Hearing them the last couple weeks in parks near home is music to my ears.

Enjoy the Red Squirrel!  I love how full of attitude they are compared to the black Squirrels.
