The Merganser is a female Hooded Merganser. Nice find.

Thomas,  thanks for the clarificaton.  Didn't see any male Hooded Merganser,  but there were plenty of RBM. Bob

It was really something else seeing the female Hooded Merganser swimming and munching on the fish at the same time - talk about "eating on the go"!   :lol:  
Too bad we didn't see a male - or any Mink today either!  Updated my thread.
