Title: Lake Aquitaine - Thursday, March 15th
Post by: Bird Brain on March 15, 2012, 12:43:04 PM
Hi everyone.  I was walking around Lake Aquitaine today from 10:30am to 12 noon.  Sighted lots of the following:

Canada Geese - including one very aggressive male (?), chasing off other geese and hissing at them.

Grackles
Gulls, mainly Ring-billed
House Sparrows - including one adult male feeding an imm.
Mallards
Red-winged Blackbirds x 50+ (males) - can hear them all the way around the lake!
Robins
Starlings

Lake Aquitaine:  SE corner of Glen Erin Dr./Aquitaine Ave., behind the Meadowvale Community Centre.
