Title: Snowy, in an odd spot
Post by: Napper on March 15, 2012, 06:43:12 PM
Hey!!

This Morning on the way into work

I spotted a juvenile  Snowy Owl on a medium height Hwy sign.

We were East bound on 401 at Express to Collector

Crossover near Jane street. It was 5:35 am.

Last week in the same location I saw something

in attack mode, all I saw was

brownish wings disapear behind a guardrail

about the same time of morning.

Neat!  Not a place to stop and investigate though, eh?  Could be harmful to ones health.

Hi Napper

I saw one very close to that spot in January, sitting on exit sign to Jane street at street level on the 401 going east, most of my friends thought I must of been seeing things.  It was a bit later around 6.30am and only got a brief look at it as I wasn't expecting that.

Hey!

my battery was dying this morning so I couldn't finish what I was gonna say.

It was on a yellow hwy sign on the right hand side as you exit express lanes

at transfers near Jane East bound 401.

It was partially white on front mostly brown on back.

It is still dark at this time of day you really have to look to see it. It is invisible from the back side.

Why is it still here?
