Title: Lake Aquitaine - Tuesday March 20th
Post by: Bird Brain on March 20, 2012, 10:24:05 AM
Hi everyone.  I was walking around Lake Aquitaine this morning between 8:30-9:30am.  Sighted the following:

Canada Geese
Cardinals
Chickadees
Grackles
House Sparrows
Mallards

Mourning Doves including one in nest.  An Eastern Grey Squirrel kept approaching and the Mourning Dove would swat him with her wings and peck him as well!

Red-winged Blackbirds - at least 60+ males and finally today, one female!  Let the head pecking begin.

Robins
Song Sparrow

Lake Aquitaine:  SE corner of Glen Erin Dr./Aquitaine Ave., behind the Meadowvale Community Centre.
