Title: midges on easter weekend?

I was at Bronte today and the midgets along the waterfront are starting to come out in full force....... Can anyone give an update on how they are at the spit or Col Sam parks??

At the Leslie Spit I've been walking through small clouds of midges for the last two weeks - enough to keep the tree swallows busy!

I've seen a few around for a while, but saw the first real clouds on Monday at Sam Smith Park.
