In a small green "pasture" on the south side of the 401, immediately East of Creditview Road and along the East shore of the Credit River.

I have spotted a few here from time to time, sometimes just a pair, often 4.
This sighting there were 10. Very nice to see in this "city" setting. I believe there might be a footpath / trail into this area and may scope that out.

Years ago - when there was an Olive Garden at Square One - a deer made its way into the restaurant and cavorted around until it managed to break out of a window and galloped off into the urban jungle.

Bob ... that's a great location for sighting deer.
Axeman ... I remember seeing that story on local tv news and newspaper.

Is that field viewable from Creditview Rd.?

I dont think it's viewable from Creditview Road due to the woods along both banks for the river - see the google photo below. I have seen the deer here a few times while I was travelling on the 401.
