Title: Northern Rough-winged Swallows
Post by: Brian Bailey on April 15, 2012, 08:56:19 PM
I didn't want to spend much time looking up in the rain this morning, but there were at least 6 Northern Rough-winged Swallows at Sam Smith Park.  There were also a few Barn Swallows and at least 20 Tree Swallows.  I saw several swallows perched in trees, so it's quite possible there were a lot more than I saw.  There were lots of grebes and other waterfowl quite close to shore.
