Title: High Park today
Post by: BC on April 17, 2012, 07:14:44 PM
I spent about 2 1/2 hours birding High Park this afternoon. It was mostly the usual suspects. I had a Grey Catbird in the same spot that I found one in February. Yellow-rumped Warblers are becoming more numerous and are singing. My 'first of year' birds were one Hermit Thrush, one Blue-grey Gnatcatcher and at least two Pine Warblers . The Pine Warblers were singing intermittently in very tall pines and were very hard to see.
