With lots of people moving their computing to mobile devices these days I think it would be neat to be able to access the forum in a nice (readable) format on a smartphone. This type of thing is possible using apps such tapatalk.
http://tapatalk.com/ (http://tapatalk.com/)
But it seems that the app requires some configuration on the server side for the forum to be accessible on the mobile device.
Anyone interested in this kind of thing?

Before I pursue this, I need to know if there is widespread interest. Let's see what response it gets. The RSS feed didn't seem to generate much interest, and I am thinking that Tapatalk will be similar, particularly since it is not a free app. I don't mind installing it for you, Andreas, but it would be nice if others are interested as well.

It sounds useful. The site works okay right now for me, but I have zoom every time I go to a new page.

OK, fair enough. Regarding the rss feeds, I already have them set up to send me notification emails for certain sub-forums that I am following. Very convenient!

OK, I've installed Tapatalk. Give it a whirl and let me know if all is well.

Thanks. Looks great on my phone. This is so convenient! Easy to navigate. Pictures appear fine. It even syncs read/unread posts between tapatalk and the web if you are logged in.
The only problem I had was that the latest unread tab did not display all my unread posts. I'll give it some time to see if that sorts itself out.

Well, I just installed Tapatalk and so far, it's a much better way to use the board on my phone. Everything is easier to see and use. The biggest (only) downside I've seen so far is that it doesn't load nearly as fast as the full site (with Dolphin HD).
