I saw this little guy coming towards me the other day.  And he got me thinking, as I saw people wandering off the trails in the woods.  Which prompted my little creation of this below...

The city ones don't work.  Maybe something creative like this will help?

I find it interesting how others are interpreting it.  One sees it as a note to off leash dog walkers.  Another sees it as the dangers WE may encounter when going off the trail (snakes, spiders, poison ivy).

Change the species to a Massassauga Rattler and it'll be even more affective. A similar tactic is in use in some city parks posting for Giant Hogweed and Poison Ivy (even if not present right then and there.)  and other hazards to good effect.

Its true of many things. Frogs and toads can be tiny and unseen.  Dogs..dont get me started. Dont forget ground nesting birds and one misstep crushes a bug world.
  Snakes...I went to South Africa. We went on a guided walk in some tall grasses, all I could think was "step where the ranger did just like I am walking through fresh snow!"
