I know that everyone with a camera on this site is shooting the birds... but does any other type of photography interest you?  I am a much bigger race fan than I am a birder but I find that both do go hand in hand.  Theres a ton of wildlife at and around the race tracks since they are usually far away from populated centers due to the noise of the races.

This weekend is the Father Day spectacular at Mosport.  Yesterday they ran the Grand AM Koni Challenge (formerly the Grand AM Cup) race GS series  (GS = Grand Sport or 6 - 8 Cyl sports cars which were stock and modified to race mostly Mustangs, Porsche's and BMW's on the track yesterday) and Today they are running the Innagural NASCAR Canadian Tire series (Formerly CASCAR).

Here's a few pictures from the GS series race yesterday.

And the winner of the Grand Am Koni Challenge race for This weekend was the #55 Super Cuts/Hyper Sports Ford Mustang Driven by Canadian driver Scott Maxwell.

Whatever else is interesting I guess. We went down to the "Taste of Little Italy" yesterday, there's various street festivals and jazz festivals around.

I would love to shoot more wildlife, but southern Ontario is kinda barren for that.

Greetings

When ever I'm at  Carden Elvar, I stop off at Elliott Falls just north of Norland to shoot
the waterfalls and rapids. Also when I pass through Hamilton and Burlington there are many falls to photogragh out there as well.

Good birding to all
