this was taken last week at Sam Smith:



I have been birding now for seven years, I made a video back then of the Grebes building a nest..in hopes of this, every year they build ..and nothing
This year woohoo we have babies!!!

Thanks! they are fun to watch hopefully we will have some dry weather this weekend and I can check them out again to see how much they have grown

Thanks Irene. I checked them out yesterday (Thurs), 2 young only present, no sign of parents but I wasn't there very long so they could have returned after I left. Still hardly any monarchs but the New England Asters are finally starting to bloom so I expect more to show up soon, especially along the lakeshore.
