Generally wind/rain overnight can cause a fallout of warblers that are tired from flying which will result in them being lower to the ground instead of up high due to exhaustion caused by the wind & rain. No rain and no wind means that if a fallout occurs they will be much higher in the trees. Best time see warblers is between 7:00 and 9:00 AM, but not restricted to seeing movement during the rest of the day due to being hungry from migration flights. Major fallouts occur during two types of weather conditions. First, when waves of migrants meet cold northwest winds that ground large numbers of birds. Second, big waves also arrive on warm fronts with periods of light rain starting after midnight, which ground migrants.
