The night hawks have returned to High Park (just about the same date as last year), about a dozen swooping over the little league baseball diamonds this evening. Also, would like help identifying about 10 other birds not normally seen in this area. A bit smaller than a Blue Jay, rapid wing beats, seemed like insect chasers as they never made it to the ground, preferring to swoop out of the trees and sort of hover. All white under, dark on top with thin band of white at end of dark tail. Eastern Kingbirds maybe?
