I have to apologize right away, I have seen these birds in Ontario before, but I was on my way to Graceland and spotted this indigo bunting on a hydro pole outside of Memphis, my trip to Graceland had an unexpected delay, but these birds are so beautiful I couldn't pass it up.
This little guy was singing his heart out, I never did see his prospective mate, but the way he was singing, she must be almost as special as my wife, after all, she didn't have to sit in the car at the side of the highway while he was taking pictures of me.
