First time I visited City View Park in Burlington after seeing some eBird reports. The grasslands there are excellent for sparrows, with 7 species seen:
Song 30
Savannah 25
Field 5
Vesper 2 (lifer)
Grasshopper 1
Clay-coloured 1
Chipping 1

Other birds of note were Eastern Bluebird, Yellow-billed Cuckoo (heard only) and Orchard Oriole. In nearby Kerncliff Park I hade Eastern Towhee, Rose-breasted Grosbeak and House Wren.

Thanks for the report thouc.  Can you give us some hints on where to look for the Yellow-Billed Cuckoo?  I looked several times and had no luck.

I heard it from the parking lot (the one near the ponds) in the woods across the field on the other side of the parking lot from the pond. Might be hard to spot it though.
