Awesome pictures!

I haven't noticed that red patch on the Great Blue Heron before, but looking at pictures online you can see it in flight pictures, but it's usually hidden when standing.

Truly wonderful photos cosmo. Especially of the Hummers, as we all know how difficult it can be to capture them, but you seem to have figured that out quite sufficiently.  :D

Hummers are easy if you get them at a feeder. Just focus a bit back out from the feeder port and wait for them to back up between feedings. They always do. Then fire away. Then you have a great in flight shot.
