Many trees damaged in Milton overnight due to heavy coating of ice.
Cambleville and Acton  no power since 7 pm last evening. Utility is telling residents
2 or three days

This tree is split right down the middle of it's trunk and is typical of the damage to the trees in the older section of Milton.
Most of the Ash trees have been destroyed.

The lights in our house have been flickering and My wireless internet has been more off than on.

The only bright spot today is the feeders are very busy
Chickadee's, Am Goldfinches, Junco's, House Finch's, American Tree Sparrows

Today is day 5 for us without power......

Most of everything in our yard is pretty much destroyed.....including several 150 year old Walnut trees.

A magnificent Flowering Crab Apple with a 40 foot canopy.....gone.

Even the 25 foot Colorado Spruces are bent over to the ground.....nothing was spared.

The first picture shows how much ice accumulated on the branches.....it's a full 2 inches and more.

The rest of the pics are trees around the house......quite sad......  :(

Sorry to see all of that damage, Stay warm & safe
Hope you have a  generator.

Daughter has a friend in Acton still without power. They
were told that it could be weeks   to have power restored
because of the location of the lines behind their house
in a ravine adjacent rail tracks. Apparently No access to
the downed poles and lines.
