Out on Saturday morning, a few interesting views: Robins, Goldfinches, Common Red Polls, Northern Shrike, Golden Crowned Kinglets, Tree Sparrows, a Sharp Shinned and the other usuals. And a surprise for me, Horned Larks on Hall's Road, about 10 of them. And lots of turkey gobbling up the newly delivered seed. Other birders said they saw a barred owl, but I missed it.

Where exactly were the turkeys? I'd appreciate the location - I haven't yet come across any.

Thanks

Go early in the morning, 9'ish, bring some cracked-corn to the north (1st) parking area on Halls Road where the bird feeder is close to the road. They'll come out so fast you might be afraid of being trampled :)

Here they are a few weeks ago.
