Hey!
This morning before leaving for our near North.
I was sent by my better half to pick up a rain barrel from the Halton regional waste area this morning. At first I was upset with the long winding route around the waste facility that took up to 20 minutes..I Then realized that there were bird houses in the low areas with some pools of water. Many Barn Swallows skimming low over the ground, and Just before the final turn to the pick-up point, 20 turkey vultures roosting on the fencing. Three of them had wings spread out in the sunshine. (8:30 am)
Nothing going up here in Tiny.
lots of work to do.. so little time..
p.s I did see a Ruby Throated Hummer this afternoon..
