November 16 at approximately 2:30 p.m. we had the rare chance to view a Rough Legged Hawk hovering/hunting over a field just off the side of Hwy 36 near Kenstone Beach Road outside of Bobcaygeon. Luckily we had our field glasses, but unluckily did not have our camera. As well there were approximately a couple hundred Common Merganzer in Little Bob Channel easily seen from County Rd. 24 bridge.
