Thanks. The Bittern was or is in the same location as the Least Bittern from last year on the south side opposite the Marina. It does not look as strikingly marked as the Humber one.

You're right! A young one, judging from the spotted wings. I guess I should have looked at the bird a little more closely. I was looking at the background trying to figure out where it was. [FLUSHED FACE]

Thank you for the correction.I thought it might have been a juvenile and it did look different from Brian's Humber bird. I guess they are rarer than I thought!

That's one of those frequently overlooked spots that most often has nothing, but occasionally has some really good birds.
