Around 7:30 this morning, I saw a Buff-breasted Sandpiper in Cell 2 in Tommy Thomson Park. It was resting on the same island where the Common Ringed Plover hung out a few weeks ago. Shortly after 8:00, Brian Stahls came by and also saw the bird, and shortly after that, the bird lifted off and flew to the south.

I have a few not-so-great photos that show the short, pointed black bill, prominent black eye, round head, buffy breast, and yellow legs. Not sure whether it will return to Cell 2, but if you're down there you may want to keep your eyes open when scanning points to the south.
