I was outside in back yard just now with pooch. I was observing the Moon which is approaching Full on Nov 14. I spotted a Fire Fly illuminating near the back fence. It displayed white flashes twice then white and red.
Doggo went to investigate and the insect stopped its display.
I spotted an very interesting Hawk like bird today in the neighbourhood, it looked like an an Osprey but seemed too compact with wings too short. Will keep a lookout
