The Rouge river is not the only waterway running through the park. The flood waters of Petticoat creek
create a habitat in the form of Amos ponds and the adjacent swampy patch. Although hard to get to
because of dense weeds it can be accessed better earlier in the year. The flood waters are still, often
veneered in duck weed. Seeing a distinct rapidly-moving swell comes as a shock. We don't have gators
so what could it be. Up pops a head and the mystery is solved .... OTTER.

WOW! That....is spectacular....have never seen one in the wild....and....I hope this is a sign that they are moving in to the GTA
