Exquisite photographs in perfect light and exposed aux naturelle.
I feel like I'm there. I haven't heard much about Downsview Park for quite
some time and therefore presumed that landscaping changes, dogs and
general increased patronage has had a negative effect on bird sightings.
Apparently not by the story told in your photographs. I wish it wasn't so
far away from me. Getting there by TTC is a pain so casual and frequent
visits is out of the question. You've got it covered though.

Great pics Dinu.  As for DV, yeah we still face certain challenges but overall speaking it's still a good park to bird.  It is hit or miss though...some days can be real quiet while other days can be spectacular like yesterday with 2 new species for the park (bringing us to 196) and some exciting species like the Northern Shrike and Eastern Towhee seen by Dinu and Mirek.  

But that's what always draws me back to the park...you never know when it'll throw some crazy surprises your way.
