White Gull at Cranberry Marsh

My husband and I were at Cranberry about 12:30.  Out on the ice were a bunch of gulls, with one almost pure white one.  It was too far away for pictures and a good look thru bins.  Did not have a scope.  Figuring it is an Iceland or Glaucous?

Any information much appreciated.   I got a quick glance of a bird, which I think could have been a Bittern, but it was down and gone in the reeds.

Size is a good way to separate them, particularly if you can compare to Herring Gulls. Glaucous is bigger, almost as big as a Great Black-backed Gull, while Iceland Gull is smaller than Herring Gull.

I leaning towards Iceland Gull, as I think most of the gulls it was with were Ringbilled and it was not too much bigger then them.

There was a lot of Northern Shovelers and the usual suspects on the Marsh.

Have not even heard a Phoebe as of today.
