After seeing only sparrows, chickadees and cardinals for the past few months, I now have a pair of red breasted nuthatches, several juncos and a few white throated sparrows hanging around the yard. I also have a red squirrel chasing the birds from under the feeder but I haven't seen a single grey squirrel for several weeks. Last but not least I see that the hummingbirds have reached southern NY state; If they don't get lost I expect my regular(s) to arrive on or about May 10.
