i have 1, maybe 2 hummingbirds visiting my feeder.
one definitely is darker than typical ruby-throated hummingbird. it also looked like it had distinct white armpits, or white vertical stripes that went in its wingpits.
i've been working a lot lately and haven't had a chance to camp out to take a photo. perhaps tonight.
i know that we get RT hummingbirds and this looks nothing like an Anna's.
any thoughts about having a non-iridescent hummer?
