I was wondering if anyone had info about coyotes in Port Credit...in particular their occurrence on the spit alongside Cooksville Creek. (I grew up there and my mother tells me from time to time about coyotes around and it interests me.)

I check that area quite often as it's close to my house. I have not found any evidence of coyote activity there.
There is a family of 8 who is currently terrorizing the good people of Mineola East. Cooksville Creek runs right up to where they are frequently spotted so I have no doubt they are in the Adamson Estate area but I never see them there.
I'll give you an update if I find them there, or signs they have been there.

Thanks meghan -- we've talked about coyotes in Port Credit and along the Lakeview spit before....there used to be a sign posted on the spit there at the mouth of Cooksville Creek...I found it amazing b/c the spit is fairly narrow and it just seemed like a place they'd avoid....

They have been spotted along Cooksville Creek up at Burnhamthorpe....
