This morning I left the house to catch my Go Bus at 4:58 am. Outside I immediately smell skunk. Nah, can't be,  its -13C.

Tonight around 7:15 pm Le dog goes nuts at the front window, Wife looks out and it's a Skunk crossing the road towards our house

Spotted it  a few minutes later as it passed by our front door. Jeesh it's -6 C

I dunno.

Spotted a Red Fox last week trotting down the middle of the street towards me at around the same time. It turned North and headed thru the "Sam Sherritt school yard" near my house. I took a good look at its tracks in the fresh snow.

Oh! and the Coyotes that are every present were very Vocal  last Friday morning at 4:30 am before heading out for work.

Napper :) No Snowy's

Coyotes have been silent around here...which is disappointing b/c I was hoping for sounds and even possibly sights given that coyote love is in the air....

I did come across a lost hound wearing a gps collar just outside the north end of Kenilworth last Saturday....poor thing was so confused...kept looking at the passing vehicles searching for it's home p/u.

I don't think the skunks are true hibernators....I've enjoyed their scent in the past on a cold morning.

And...I am truly sorry you're not seeing snowies but...neither am I.
