While looking for unusual plants I came across this bright orange fungus,
likely Mycena Leaiana, and growing downward. This unconventional
attitude was too disturbing to leave up-side-down so I inverted the
photo. By all means, invert your monitor if you feel in the mood for
some disorientation. I needed to use flash because the light was too
feeble for a hand-held shot, not having IS and being without a tripod.
Also, I had the wrong lens for the capture, at least not without extension
tubes fitted, which I also do not have. I would have liked to shoot this with
a time exposure and some LED fill light, which I also didn't have with me.
Looks like something from the land of OZ with that hard flash (could have
softened it with a diaphanous tissue if I only had a brain).
