They remind me of the velociraptors from Jurassic Park with the way they hunt in a pack...the sound they make...I'll bet you Spielberg got his inspiration for the velociraptors from blue jays.
In the winter that's pretty much what we get at the feeders...about a dozen jays...a dozen chickadees...a dozen juncos...a few cardinals and the odd downy or hairy....maybe a nuthatch...oh...a few red squirrels...one black phased eastern grey squirrel (he's relatively well behaved) and a few deer.
