Eastern Coyote Up On A Fallen Tree

Greetings! Thought I would pop in and say hello to everyone. I apologize but I forget about this site. It's taught me so much over the years and sadly, I do not contribute. I hope to change that this year and become more of an active member like I once was

I thought I would share a photo of an Eastern Coyote. I has a great opportunity and was able to photograph her most morning close to my house

Yeah being candid, I for one have truly missed your contributions.....this one does a lot to make up for things though.....freaking AWESOME pic....one of your best yet and you know what a fan I am of your pix....sooooo where was this? How'd you get this view?

You should give this to an artist to recreate...or frame it and sell it....Mississauga? Toronto? Port Credit? Did I ever show you the pix my mother took of coyote sleeping in their backyard? Just curled up on the lawn...apparently spent a few hours there undisturbed.

 A photograph with emotional ripeness. Your subject’s pose is demonstrative of alert indecision but breaking resignation to the inevitable, all played out within a tenebrous stage setting. It is hauntingly foreboding. One last look around its stomping ground before the arrival of developers at sunrise to erect the monstrosity ironically called Coyote Estates. Your other captures are also like satisfying chapters of a story about a vanishing world. These photos will only appreciate with time. Continue your legacy before it’s too late.
The coyote leaving no footprints and no scent within the creek waters should be on billboards to remind us all of what will soon only be a memory.

Thank you! As always.  I spent a lot of time with this Coyote. I used to see her every morning. She got used to my presence and just went about her business. Her family never came out when I was there but she sure did. An overnight wind storm brought down many trees in her forest. I was there at dawn and watched her hop up on all the newly fallen trees and look around.

I'd love to have someone paint this. And yes, you did send me the picture of the Coyotes sleeping in your mother's backyard! I still never see them over there.
