Today, I saw about half a dozen Hermit thrush at the park and there were also many Brown creeper about. No Fox sparrows and no towhees. At one point I saw four hard-working phoebes busking at the edge of the bluffs, despite low wages, all within a 45-degree field-of-view. Also, quite a few Yellow-bellied sapsuckers. The highlight of the morning was the arrival of Pine warblers. There were also some YR warblers. I saw three of the former species and not one of them had ever heard of Donald Trump. The sound of GC kinglets was everywhere, even when not readily visible, although many were indeed along sight-lines.
