Thanks. First time down there at this time of year. Holiday Beach was amazing. Bald eagles, osprey, harrier, merlin. Four juvenile baldies cavorting while an adult looked on majestically above it all. Lots of herons and egrets.Hopefully, after two springs, We can go for the migration next year.

Nice close capture of the Belted Kingfisher. Not a decoy ... right? I've never been to Pelee. Perhaps in the next life it will happen. I don't think that the heron much cares for the sign and is contemplating showing its displeasure in the way birds are wont to do. Never tried it myself, but then again, I object to everything.

Followed the kingfisher all around the boardwalk. Or did it lead me? As for the heron I told my wife too bad it wasn't a no fishing sign.
