Been here a the Beach since Monday, Yesterday was a complete wash out, 24 hours of heavy rain almost 5 inches.
This Morning was buzzed by a Hummingbird while exiting the front door. A little shocked I had a look at the flowers and there is not a lot remaining.
Have had Pileated, Red Headed all week along with Norther Flickers. Spotted a
Red Bellied today early afternoon. Tried to get an image but it wouldn't co-operate.
Lots of Jays, Grackles??, Red Breasted Nuthatches, Cardinals around.
Neighbour had a mystery bird today at her feeder today Robin sized, All Yellow with no markings on the wings. Dunno if was a result of the Low pressure system yesterday, I might to go have a look. Two Pileated's arrived and the bird flew off.

Napper:)

How exciting!! I have never seen a red headed, and you have plural pileated's, not tl mention a all yellow bird! Can't think of anything Robinside, could it be a juvi summer tanager.
