Took this shot this summer  http://juliansbirdwatchingphotos.fotopi ... 52998.html

I had standoff of sorts with a mangy looking coyote a few years back.  There were some living in the ravine at the south end of Rennie Park I believe.  One must have made its way over to my street (near South Kingsway).  As I was pushing the stroller with my son inside it appeared.  As I shielded my son (superhero style) we sort of watched each other from about 15 metres away for a few seconds.  It then moved on.

Very nice. I've yet to see a coyote in Toronto. I've seen foxes every now and then - in Hog's Hollow, near Sherwood Park, near the Humber.

A few years ago, I saw 2 coyotes crossing Bloor St. around Prince Edward at around 3 a.m.

The funny thing is, I've seen many coyotes in urban areas (Mississauga) but none at my house which is in Ayton, ON, in the bush and amongst farms.

Around Erin Mills Town Centre (nw)...Erindale College campus...meadowvale (Lake Acquitane)....

I have never seen or heard one in Port Credit but they had warning signs posted on the spit adjacent to Cooksville Creek...

Hey Kin.. Nice shot

I spotted a Coyote last Wednesday  along Derry Rd. East of  Trafalgar.

It was standing tall in a snow covered corn field similar to your image.. at 4:00 pm..

I Was using "Go transit (bus)" at the time so I was elevated and had a real good long view.. I have been Carpooling for 18 months and I have been missing this

stuff..

:))  man is it snowing heavy right! now Mar 8  6:30 pm

I was at the track (woodbine) late last year and a coyote ran across the track, literally over the finish line .. unbelievable! Several of the regulars in the smoking section have witnessed coyotes on the track.   There are also fox too.

Birding takes my mind off stuff and it adds good life to a tuff life. It also helps me forget about my spine pain and stress.  Laugh, eat, be merry.  Anybody with extra $ may send me some as It will permit me to travel.

I saw a coyote in Sam Smith park last year.
There are foxes living there now and there have been sightings often.
