Another sunny morning at the park. Not a whole lot of action and contrary to what I was expecting by May 12th. Beyond the usual and abundant species, today's sightings include:
Swainson's thrush (singing) / Veery (singing) / Catbird (calling) / Great Crested Flycatcher / Least Flycatcher / Warbling Vireo (singing)
Philadelphia Vireo / Yellow warbler / Chestnut-sided warbler / Common Yellowthroat / Yellow-rumped warbler / Tennessee warbler
In no way was I able to photograph all of these species. The catbird was always deeply entangled and most of the rest were either too high above me or just too far away.
