I was playing at the Port Perry soccer fields, just west of the Nonquon lagoons, and I had around 100 bontaparte's gulls fly over during the course of the game, in flocks ranging from 10 to 50, heading east. Also, at the Nonquon river I saw 3 small herons roosting in a tree. I didn't have my bins with me and the sun was going down but my guess is they were green herons. There were also about 40 mallards and other ducks in the river.
