This bird was at the top of the birch tree in my front yard.  I know they generally stay lower, but...
Confirmation?  Something else?

Thanks,
Joe

Could that bird (original posting) possibly be a Mourning Warbler?

Here are a couple more (bad) shots of one individual from today.  This guy is also in that Mourning... Nashville... Connecticut crowd.

Thanks,
Joe

Are you sure that those two are the same individual?  The upper looks like a Chestnut-sided Warbler while the lower looks like an American Redstart.  And the previous set looks like a Nashville Warbler to me, too.

Thanks for your reply.  They were taken right after each other as the bird jumped to a different branch.  I guess anything can happen, but I'm pretty sure it's the same bird.  This bird has a orange bill with a dark tip.  Don't both the Redstart and Chestnut Sided have all black bills?
