I read a very small clip on a news bulletin of a study that concluded that many northern songbirds were not migrating as far south as usual...or not migrating at all...and it got me wondering about the GTA robin reports and my own experience that I was hearing robins in the woods surrounding my home as late as December....and recently I spotted a turkey vulture...

Anyone else hear of this study? I would love to read about it in a little more detail...

I'll keep my eyes out for the study and post the link if I find it. It would make sense, one of the girls I work with went to Sandbanks PP with me last week and we saw some robins around a house feeder as we were leaving. It was pretty strange as it's by Prince Edward country's bird city. That's pretty far NE for them this time of year.
