Hi all, the male Golden-winged Warbler reported this morning by Kevin Seymour was still there tonight.
It was mainly quiet although it sang for approximately 10 minutes.
It was feeding in the trees at the eastern end of the section 45 (see the following link: http://www.mountpleasantgroupofcemeteri ... 0Walks.pdf ).
It showed really well and was still there when I left around 7.20 pm. Wonderful bird!
Also to be seen in the same area :
1 Olive-sided Flycatcher , Cedar Waxwings, 1 Scarlet Tanager, 2 Ruby-throated Hummingbirds and 1 Magnolia Warbler.

Mount Pleasant Cemetery is located at 375 Mount Pleasant Road (south of Merton and north of St Clair Avenue).

Good birding

Mathieu

Hi,
I certainly think these guys breed around here. So my guess would be that you have pretty good chances to see them by walking in the cemetery. It's big though, but since there are a lot of blossomed trees there, I think it's pretty good to see hummingbirds.

Good luck!
