I did my first Marsh Monotoring Survey this evening. Six 15 minute point counts- number 7 was rained out. I did not have time to check out the ducks.
Great Egret- 2, Least Bittern- 1, Virginia Rail- 7, Common Moorhen- 2, American Coot- 9, Marsh Wren- 11 and Red Fox- 1.
