My fiancee and I were at the Distillery today at 3ish. As we were walking down Mill St, I noticed a large hawk fly and land on a tower/building on the northwest corner of the Distillery. It immediately left and flew towards the condos at 70 Mill St, making
this noise as it flew. It landed on the top floor (7th) balcony railing and a parade of feathers came floating down. I guess it caught a nice pigeon lunch on the tower it landed on.
We watched it eat and couldn't identify it other than it looked like a red-tailed hawk, but not really. I am using its call (linked above) as the identifier.
We left before it flew away.
