Please help with gull

This large gull was at Saddington Park, Port Credit.  I think it is a young black-backed gull, but lesser or greater??  I don't know!  Can anyone help?  Thanks!

Looks to me to be a 2nd winter Herring Gull. The mantle doesn't look dark enough to be a Great Black-back and it's overall size and shape seems to big for Lesser
