Did some early morning birding at Rosetta McClain Gardens today and saw 29 species during my time there.  Although nothing overwhelmingly exciting (aside from the flock of Tundras) it's a good start to spring and it's only going to get better.

Canada Goose, Tundra Swan, Mallard, Long-tailed Duck, Bufflehead, Red-breasted Merganser, Red-necked Grebe, Killdeer, Ring-billed Gull, Iceland Gull, Rock Pigeon, Mourning Dove, Downy Woodpecker, Blue Jay, American Crow, Black-capped Chickadee, Red-breasted Nuthatch, White-breasted Nuthatch, American Robin, European Starling, American Tree Sparrow, Song Sparrow, Dark-eyed Junco, Northern Cardinal, Red-winged Blackbird, Common Grackle, House Finch, American Goldfinch, and House Sparrow.

Birding takes my mind off stuff and it adds good life to a tuff life. It also helps me forget about my spine pain and stress.  Laugh, eat, be merry.  Anybody with extra $ may send me some as It will permit me to travel.
