hey vince! we saw him not far from the parking lot at the front entrance - we took the path above the credit river, not beside it - and located him near the clearing where that small tent like bush was. there's a pretty good view of the nest from the bike path. you can't really miss it, it's pretty big ;)
he comes and goes, so it can be a waiting game. he seems really tolerant of people, though. more curious then anything. good for photos :)

if my description is a little confusing, i can google map it in the morning and screen cap the location.

The map would be helpful. I'm not sure which path you refer to.
Thanks much
Vince

that's where the nest is roughly located. it's easy to spot since the trees are still bare, and it's the biggest nest in that area.

Angelicque, Thank you for your map posting. This evening--cold and wet, @ 735pm.  I have an close encouter with the hwak, me and my hubby walked to the nest and didn't see him/her there, so we walk bavk to the car because it's freezing cold. then just at the corner of my eye, I got something, he/she is about 20-30 feets on a tree branch, blending so well with the gloomy color of the weather and the tree! It's certainly an experience being so closed to a wild hawk, then it flew back to the direction of the nest and we kind of following and didn't know that we walked pass him/her again!
IT's certainly is a great experience.

After that we leave him/her in peace becuase we figure out it's time for him/her to go back home to take a nap! :P

we also met a guy and he usually go on the trail there and he said he saw Deer in the park as well.

PS Not to mention, there were about 8 TV there as well, very close to the ground!
