Virtually every apple tree in my neighbourhood (Yonge & Finch) is once again infested with tent caterpillars. I'm told they don't do any real damage but the host fruit trees certainly appear worn out after several years of torment. Are these insects ever going to go away? I'm not sure if this post should be under Toronto Wildlife but they are a life form that drives me wild.
